3 Simple Ways to Lose Weight

Many people will try just about anything to lose weight. But instead of grapefruit diets or drastic carb cutting, it may be time to try these three simple strategies recently suggested by Sharecare experts.

1. Shop your way thinner.
Wandering the grocery aisles and picking out what looks good is a surefire recipe for weight gain. Instead, hit the store with a plan, says dietician Frances Largeman-Roth, RD. In this video, she gives tips on how you can shop your way to weight loss—including the one time never to shop.

2. Shrink your appetite with this extract.
The next time you are at the health food store, pick up some green coffee bean extract to help rev up your weight loss. Weight loss expert Caroline Apovian, MD, explains how green coffee bean extract can help you lose weight in this video.

3. Set the mood when you set the table.
Turns out there are senses other than taste that have an effect on how much you eat. Integrative medicine specialist Robin Miller, MD, says that according to recent research, soothing music and lighting and a calm environment can lead people to eat less.     Eat yourself full before going out for shopping. It not only give u the energy but also curb your appetite so that you will not buy snacks or junk food during shopping.
