The #1 Way to Keep Your Resolutions

For many of us, today marks the first day back to work in 2012. It’s probably also the day that most New Year’s resolutions are broken.

Example: I am butt-glued to my office chair right now eating a protein bar even though one of my resolutions was to take the time to go out and get something green for lunch (and to stretch my legs).

Keeping resolutions is tough business. Luckily, there is a lot of help available. Research shows, for instance, that the buddy system really works when you’re trying to lose weight or get fit. That’s why we’ve hooked up with a really fantastic buddy system—the community at DailyStrength.  We’ve worked with them to come up with the Top 9 resolutions of 2012:

Lose Weight
Lower Stress
Find More Me Time
Eat Healthier
Exercise More
Reconnect With Loved Ones
Give Back
Quit Smoking
Get More Sleep

There is a DailyStrength  member group for each resolution. Visit a group and write down your goal.  You’ll be more likely to stick to it because you have an online support system already in place. You’ll get encouragement and tips from real people facing the same obstacles as you.

It just goes to show: There really is strength in numbers. Good luck!
