That’s the battle cry of Dr. Vonda Wright, a Sharecare advisory board member who also happens to be one of the few female orthopaedic surgeons in the U.S. An energetic mom, doctor and athlete, Dr. Wright specializes in fitness and sports medicine and recently published her second book, Dr. Vonda Wright’s Guide to Thrive: Four Steps to Body, Brains, and Bliss. I like the idea of the 500 calorie rule but it seems very hard to monitor. Im a runner and I burn 1000 calories just on the weekend and run and do hot yoga during week. I know that I have about 5 lbs I could lose without being considered too thin. I just don’t want to sacrifice my performance by eating too little. Is it too risky to try to cut calories now?
